In July 2010 Wellness Filter closed due to financial difficulties. Naturally Filtered produced many products for Wellness and has taken over support for their customers. Our goal is to support you to the best of our abilities so you can continue to enjoy your products for years to come.

Who is Naturally Filtered?

At Naturally Filtered, we believe in using the best filtration technologies to purify water without removing any natural, healthy minerals. All of our products are produced in North America with the highest quality materials. Some of our members worked for Wellness Filter in the past and are experts in their full product line. We will continue to produce Wellness Filter cartridges, parts, and systems as long as there is customer demand. We also offer service and support for Wellness Filter units.

Wellness Shower (back to top) Product Manual

Replacement Cartridge - Natural Shower Cartridge

Support Information - The Natural Shower cartridge is compatible with the black Wellness Shower base. They are the same filter with the same performance, filter life, and backwashing feature.

The Wellness Shower was simply a private label version of the Natural Shower in black with an extended cartridge to add their Japanese stones and magnets after the filter. The Wellness model was discontinued when they closed as we were not able to validate the value of their media and we did not feel it was worth the $100 price increase on both unit and cartridge versus our standard model.

Wellness Carafe (back to top) Product Manual

Replacement Cartridge - Wellness Carafe Cartridge 3-Pack

Support Information - We produced the Wellness Carafe for Wellness Filter and will continue to manufacture it in the same way with the same media due to the popularity of the product line. The Wellness Carafe is the only enhanced product line we sell. We purchased a significant quantity of Wellness' enhancement media so we can contine to make the Wellness Carafe for years to come.

Replacement Cartridge - Kitchen S-III Cartridge Pack

Support Information - The Kitchen S-III was Wellness Filter's primary drinking system model, sold from 2003 to Spring 2010. We designed and produced the filter cartridges for this model. We will continue to make the same cartridge packs for this model indefinitely. We also fully service these units and stock replacement parts.

Replacement - Natural Home MG-10

Support Information - The Natural Home MG-10 is the same internal filter as the Wellness MG-III with higher quality components. The Wellness MG-III is expensive to service due to the components Wellness chose to use. To keep the cost affordable we have opted to upgrade customers to the Natural Home MG-10 at our standard refurbishment rate ($1500) plus a non-refundable $425 tank charge. You will not need to return your old MG-III system to us but proof of purchase is required.

Replacement - Natural Kitchen

Information - Wellness Filter's classic backwashing system, discontinued in 2003. The Wellness Filter has a white plastic cover and no replaceable cartridge. We stock replacement diverter valves, faucet adaptors, and elbow fittings. The Wellness Filter should be replaced if it is more than 10 years old or if it fails to effectively reduce Chlorine. Recommended for above-sink use only! The Wellness Filter was not designed to handle constant pressure and there is a risk of catastrophic failure and flooding if the system is installed under the sink.

Replacement - Natural Kitchen

Information - The Wellness Kitchen was a new drinking system that Wellness launched for a short time in Fall 2009. Only 175 of the these units were sold due to Wellness Filter's financial difficulties and we do not support these units (see FAQ above). If you have this system you are eligible for a 20% discount on our Natural Kitchen system (proof of purchase required).

Replacement - Natural Home MG-10

Information - Wellness Filter's original home system imported from Japan from 1998 to 2004. The system should be replaced if it is more than 10 years old or when it fails to effectively reduce Chlorine. We do not offer parts or service for this product but we have a staff member with full technical knowledge on the system for troubleshooting.

Information - The Marc IV was a high capacity 40 gallon-per-minute home system produced between 2000 and 2004. The system should be replaced if it is more than 10 years old or when it fails to effectively reduce Chlorine. We do not offer parts or service for this product but we have a staff member with full technical knowledge on the system for troubleshooting.

Replacement Cartridge - N/A

Information - We do not sell or support any of Wellness' bottle products. We did not produce them for Wellness Filter and have chosen not to work with the manufacturer who was producing them as we were not happy with the product quality. If you are looking for a quality bottle filter there are several available today. Our favorite is Katadyn's MyBottle (ultralight series). Brita also now produces an inexpensive bottle that offers basic filtration.

Wellness Wand (back to top)

Replacement Cartridge - N/A

Information - The Wellness Wand was a unique product sold by Wellness Filter and produced by another US manufacturer. It is high quality and has strong test data behind it. Unfortunately the product did not sell well enough to justify the minimum production quantity necessary for sales and support. We have a small stock of Wellness Wands available for $30 each. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why did Wellness Filter close? (back to top)

    In late 2009 Wellness Filter was faced with several difficult financial decisions regarding large inventory purchases of the Wellness Shower & Wellness Kitchen products. They chose to delay those purchases until an "imminent" funding arrived. Unfortunately the funding continued to be delayed and they ran out of stock of the two products that supported the company financially. After nearly a year of continued delays and lack of significant income they were unable to continue operations and forced to close.

  • How long will Naturally Filtered continue to support Wellness Filter products? (back to top)

    We will support the Wellness Kitchen, Shower, Home, and Carafe products for many years to come.

  • What happens if your Wellness Filter product has a problem? (back to top)

  • Are Naturally Filtered products the same? (back to top)

    The cartridges for the Kitchen S-III and Carafe products, as well as the Carafes are identical. The Shower, Shower Cartridge and Home products use the same filters and are produced at the same facilities, but do not include the Japanese stones or magnets that Wellness was using.

  • Why isn't Naturally Filtered using the Wellness enhancement stones in all of their products? (back to top)

    Our company's focus is to produce the best filtration products available on the market and sell them at competitive prices. The "enhancement" media increased the cost of the systems by 2 or 3 times and without a landmark study to validate the value of the media we decided not to continue in that direction. The exception is the Carafe line, where customers were very happy with the product as it was and the cost was less significant to continue to use the enhancement media.

  • Can you get Wellness enhanced units somewhere else? (back to top)

    Wellness Filter was the only company in the world utilizing their proprietary media and patented magnetic treatment processes. Although it is possible they may choose to re-open in the future and again offer enhanced products, right now the enhanced units are not available through them or anyone else.

  • Does Naturally Filtered sell or support the H2.O Bottle and Wellness Wand? (back to top)

    We do not sell or support either of these products. We did not produce the H2.O Bottle for Wellness Filter and have chosen not to enter a contract with the manufacturer as we were not happy with their product quality. While we were happy with the quality of the Wellness Wand, we do not see enough of a market for the item at this time to justify the minimum production quantity necessary for sales and support.

  • Will the new style Wellness Kitchen (white, tear-drop case) be sold or supported? (back to top)

    The circumstance with the new style Wellness Kitchen is very unfortunate. Wellness Filter never entered full production of the Wellness Kitchen model, but decided to sell units from their sample production run in late 2009. Because they did not enter full production, only 170 - 180 of these units are on the market today. To further complicate the situation, the systems were designed with a custom fabricated plastic housing around the cartridge that Wellness sourced from China. Because of their plastic housing our cartridge will not fit in the Wellness Kitchen unit even though it is the same filter. If you own one of these products please call us at 800-428-9419 to discuss the situation in more detail. We will give a 20% discount on our Natural Kitchen unit to any customer who has one of these units. Alternatively, we will be happy to recommend quality kitchen systems from other manufacturers. Please note, Naturally Filtered was not involved in the sale of this product and cannot offer financial compensation.
